Don't give your personal information away this holiday season! The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public of widespread fraud in which scammers impersonate DEA agents.

• DEA will never contact members of the public or medical practitioners to demand money or payments. DEA notifies individuals of investigations or legal action in the form of a letter.
• Never give money or gift cards to someone you don't know.
• If you do receive a call from someone claiming to be with DEA, report the incident at ic3.gov.
